Size guide
Sizes are given as width by depth. If you are between two, take the larger one — nobody has ever regretted the extra three feet at nine at night with a truck still half full.
| Unit size | Roughly | What tends to fit | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5×10 | 50 sq ft | A small bedroom: mattress set, dresser, boxes, bicycle | Studio or one bedroom |
| 10×10 | 100 sq ft | A living room plus a bedroom: sofa, table, appliances, 20–30 boxes | One to two bedroom home |
| 10×15 | 150 sq ft | Three rooms of furniture, appliances and boxes, with room to walk | Two to three bedroom home |
| 10×20 | 200 sq ft | A full household, or a vehicle with room left over | Three to four bedroom home, or a car |
| 12×25 | 300 sq ft | A large household plus equipment, or a vehicle and its contents | Whole-house move, contractors |
| Parking space | Outdoor | Motorhomes, travel trailers, boats and utility trailers | Seasonal or year-round parking |

Pricing
Rates depend on the size, the type of unit and what is available that week, so we quote them by phone rather than posting a number that goes stale. Call (541) 879-0698 and you will get the current price for the unit you actually want, including anything running as a move-in offer.

Not sure what will fit?
Describe the load on the phone and we will size it for you in about a minute. We do this every day, and we would rather put you in the right unit at the start than move you twice.
How to fit more into a smaller unit
- Dismantle bed frames and tables — legs off, tops flat against a wall
- Fill drawers, suitcases and appliances instead of storing them empty
- Use uniform boxes: they stack square, odd boxes waste the top third of the unit
- Stand sofas and mattresses on end where the design allows
- Leave a corridor down the middle so the back of the unit is still reachable
- Label boxes on the side, not the top — you will be reading them stacked
Common questions
What size storage unit do I need?
Count rooms, not boxes. One bedroom of furniture fits comfortably in a 5×10, a one to two bedroom home in a 10×10, and a three to four bedroom home in a 10×20. If you are unsure, describe the load to us on the phone and we will size it for you.
Do you post your prices online?
We quote by phone so the number you get is the number that applies to the unit that is actually open. Call (541) 879-0698 and it takes a minute.
Can I switch to a different size later?
Yes, subject to availability. People often start larger during a move and drop down once the unpacking settles.
Is there a minimum rental period?
Ask us when you call — we will tell you the terms before you commit, not after.
