Who stores a vehicle with us

Plenty of Rogue Valley households have one more vehicle than they have driveway. Sometimes it is a classic that should not sit under a tree. Sometimes it is a work truck that a neighbourhood HOA would rather not look at. Sometimes someone is deployed, travelling, or between houses.

All of it is the same problem: the vehicle needs somewhere better than the street.

  • Second and third household vehicles
  • Classic and collector cars
  • Project vehicles mid-restoration
  • Work trucks and vans kept off the street
  • Vehicles stored during deployment or travel

Storing a car for more than a month

Fill the tank and add a stabiliser so condensation does not form and the fuel does not go stale. Put the tires at full pressure. Connect a battery tender if you can, or disconnect the negative terminal if you cannot. Change the oil first if it is due — used oil sitting in an engine all winter is acidic. And leave the parking brake off, with chocks instead, so the pads do not seize to the rotors.

Common questions

Do you have indoor vehicle storage?

We have both enclosed units and outdoor parking depending on availability. For a classic or a restoration, ask about an enclosed drive-up unit sized to the vehicle.

Can I work on my car at the facility?

Storage units are for storage, not as a workshop — that is standard across the industry and it is a safety and insurance matter. Call us and we will tell you exactly where the line is.

Does the vehicle need to be registered and insured?

Yes. Bring current registration and proof of insurance when you rent, and keep them current while the vehicle is stored.

How often should I check on a stored vehicle?

Once a month is a reasonable habit. Start it, let it reach temperature, and look at the tires. Our access hours are built so that is not an inconvenience.
