We value your interest in Best Homes Storage, and we share your concern about privacy. This policy explains what this website collects, what it does not, how we use it, and how to reach us about it. We may update it from time to time; the date above tells you when it last changed.
The short version
This website has no contact form, no login and no checkout. You cannot type your name, your phone number or a card number into it, because there is nowhere to type them. We do not ask this site for personal information and it does not collect any from you directly.
What it does collect is the ordinary technical information every website receives, plus analytics that tell us which pages people read. What it does is show you information and, when you want to rent or pay, hand you over to our rental portal — which is run by a different company, on a different address, under its own privacy policy.
Information collected automatically
Like essentially every website, this one automatically receives some information when you visit. That includes your IP address, the browser and device you are using, the page that referred you, and which pages you look at and which buttons you click.
We use it to understand which parts of the site are useful, to fix what is broken, and to see whether people are finding us at all. It is not used to identify you personally, and we do not try to.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. This site uses them to recognise a returning browser and to measure how the site is performing.
The Help menu of most browsers will tell you how to stop accepting new cookies, be warned when you receive one, or disable them altogether. Nothing on this site breaks if you refuse cookies — every page, phone number, address and link works exactly the same. The only thing you change is whether we can count your visit.

The last row is the important one. When you click Rent Online or Pay My Bill, you leave roberts750.sg-host.com/ and arrive at a portal operated by CC Storage. Your name, your phone number, your rental agreement and your card details are entered there, held by them, and governed by their privacy policy and not by this one. We can see your account as the facility that rents to you; we never see your card number.
Calls to us
Incoming telephone calls may be recorded. Recordings may be played back, transcribed, reviewed and kept by us or by trusted people working on our behalf, and may contain personal information about the call. We follow applicable law on call recording and notification.
If you would rather not be recorded, say so at the start of the call, or come into the office at 2014 Leigh Way, White City, OR 97503 during office hours.
How we use and share information
We use what we hold to answer your questions, manage your rental and your account, send rent notices and property updates, resolve disputes and collect fees, improve the site, and occasionally let you know about something relevant that we offer.
We share it only in these situations:
- Service providers who work on our behalf — payment processing, analytics, customer service — who may use it only to do that work and must protect it as we do
- Legal process: subpoenas, court orders, establishing or defending legal claims, or where the law requires it
- Protection and enforcement, where we believe it necessary to investigate or prevent illegal activity or to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, our staff or the business
- A corporate transaction — a merger, a sale of the business or its assets, or insolvency
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We may share aggregate, anonymous figures — how many people read a page, how many enquiries came from a town — that cannot identify anybody.
How we protect it
No website can promise perfect security, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What we do is limit access to personal information to the people who need it for a legitimate business reason, use encryption in transit, and keep the systems that hold it up to date.
This website itself is served over HTTPS and stores no customer records, which is the simplest protection available: data that is never collected cannot be leaked.
Children
This is a general audience website and we do not direct any service to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has given us personal information, we delete it.
Your choices
You can browse this site without giving us anything. You can refuse cookies in your browser and everything still works. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — call (541) 879-0698 or email manager@besthomesstorage.com and we will deal with it.
For anything held in the rental portal, contact us and we will point you to the right place: some of it is ours to change and some of it sits with CC Storage.
